Throughout the whole album the use of techniques such as sound collage, live-sampling and other methods associated to experimental hip hop production, helps Fig.8 finding an space from which he liberates a wild stream of jazz, noise and electronica that disorients and mesmerizes from the get go.

Last Friday the 18th of February we had the pleasure of premiering the first episode from ANTICS, our series of mini-documentaries/intreviews that aim to introduce to our followers the work of our favourite creative people. The event took place at Loading Xixón (Asturias/Spain) and we had a screening of the first episode, featuring multidisciplinary artist covco, an exhibition/intervention by coco herself at the Loading Xixón headquarters and Dj sessions from Molar 26, Nivo Yumin and Balheim.

“Nostalgigia” x Skygaze is already out there via Antic Mass. Alejandro “Santa” Santana is a musician and producer from Asturias (Spain), known for being fifty per cent of the electronic pop duo Huias, alongside Maria Lastra. On his solo project as AmorObsoleto, Santa presents a more experimental and contemplative approach, close to ambient and musique concrète. Here he performs “Gaviota Mar”, one of his improvisations on modular synth, live in studio.
